Another little spotlight of Hudson's learning. Hudson has really enjoyed the special learning time that he enjoys while Holly is working next to him. He is ready to start in before she is most days. I love that it is helping him to stay calm and engaged while Holly is experiencing her school and I am truly enjoying our one on one learning together.
Yesterday Hudson had fun with a challenging shape sorter, you have to add the shapes to the proper peg with little patterns and often turn them to actually complete the game. This is quiet challenging and each time he improves! We also enjoyed some fun with colorful shapes, exploring them and building with them and then playing in the sunlight to create color patterns on the floor. He did some fine motor skill work with creating design on a little wooden board with pegs, he threaded beads onto pipe cleaner, placed mini pumpkins on a squared sheet and sorted into a pumpkin tray. To finish us we did circle time with dancing to music with instruments and singing the ABC's, Gray Squirrel and The Pumpkin Song. It was a fun time!!!
