We did finish up our week with Dr. Seuss, I don't have as many photos though... too busy. Holly enjoyed her final couple stories of Wocket In My Pocket, Yertle the Turtle and Horton Hears A Who. She read the stories and did a review of each book. The reviews alone have been fantastic, easy for her age yet are starting to get her thinking of the book over all. I think I am going to edit this format a tad and use this a bit more this year.
With Horton Hears A Who we were lucky enough to borrow the movie from a friend. Holly and I read the book and then watched the movie, all the while comparing the two. Seeing the differences was pretty cool for Holly. We did this with Charlotte's Web a while back too.
Holly also enjoyed some other learning sheets in math, writing, reading and art too. It was a very fun and busy week. The grand finale was attending Seussical the Musical at the Tacoma Children's Theater. The show was wonderful, high energy and fun! They did a fantastic job with it - she loved it! What a fun time!!!
